This module offers multiple unique features. The system outstands with its openness. All sound data are saved unencrypted as wav-files on a standard microSD-card. Therefore every PC owner can change and extend them. The SD-card is delivered with a set of around 25 different sample sets for different vehicle types and our sample library is constantly growing.
The currently active sample set is determined by the user by starting a small setup programme for Windows(tm) PCs.
Numerous events which can occur in a tank are represented and up to five sounds can be played at the same time (polyphony).
It is possible to define and play several user-defined sounds like battle sounds, battle cries or songs.
Any 8 Ohm speaker may be connected directly to the board. No external amplifiers are necessary. We recommend for example the Visaton FRS7-8 (great dynamic range and small dimensions) or the Visaton FRS8-8 (better bass sound but quieter and larger). The chassis should be in a as large as possible, closed and air tight box which is coated with accoustic insulating material.
